martens have recently
completed development of its GIS laboratory which is
linked to our various field spatial data sources. With
our GIS (ArcInfo) laboratory, we are capable of a range
of spatial analyses, modeling and mapping. Example
applications include:
 satellite
image processing
terrain
analysis
hydrological
and environmental modeling
regional
strategic planning
landscape
mapping

martens have acquired a
range of new and innovative geotechnical testing
equipment designed for soil and soft rock exploration.
Of particular interest are our range of in-situ soil
sampling devices enabling continuous undisturbed soil
sample extraction at depths of up to 20 m.
